Several
internationally multi-Member Institute research projects have
been completed: these include the Blends Project; work on
retreading truck tyres; work on powdered, liquid and thermoplastic
rubber, and very recently work to combat Corynespora leaf
fall disease. Some of this work has been funded by International
agencies (the Common Fund for Commodities and UNIDO), but
some has been funded from the IRRDB's own resources. The latter
includes a workshop on effluent treatment and another on the
identifaction of CFD.
